September14th-September15th,co-sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation Mathematics Tianyuan Foundation and Jilin University, "The Seminar on Numerical Computing of Random Partial Differential Equations" co-sponsored by tianyuan Mathematics Northeast Center and Jilin University School of Mathematics Held at Jilin University Central Campus. The seminar, convened by researcher Hong Jialin of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was the third session of the topic event "The Calculation Method of Random Differential Equations2019and Their Mathematical Theory" at the Center for The Northeast of Tianyuan Mathematics. More than40experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, National Defense University of Science and Technology, Xiangtan University, Zhongnan University and other research institutes participated in the seminar. Professor Zhang Ran, a researcher at the Hong Jialin Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, vice president of the School of Mathematics of Jilin University and deputy director of the Executive Committee of the National Tianyuan Center for Mathematics in the Northeast, attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Yu Yongkui, Deputy Director of the Institute of Mathematics.

Zhang Ran delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, on behalf of Tianyuan Mathematics Northeast Center, she extended a warm welcome to the experts and scholars attending the meeting, and thanked the experts and scholars for their long-term support for the development and construction of the Jida Mathematics AndTianyuan Mathematics Northeast Center. Since its establishment in2018,she has achieved a series of rich achievements through the holding of seminars, short courses and other unique academic activities, especially in the areas of information resource sharing, academic team building, and the promotion of talent, to play a platform advantage, Formed a good academic research atmosphere. She said the center will continue its efforts to gradually become an important international influence of the mathematical research center, for the development of the mathematics discipline of Chida to create favorable conditions, better serve the economic and social development of Jilin Province and the northeast region, to make more contributions to China's construction as a mathematical power.

In his speech, Hong Jialin thanked the experts and scholars for their attention and support for the event. He briefly introduced the purpose and activities of the seminar on numerical calculation of random partial differential equations. He hoped that through this thematic activity, we can promote the calculation method of random differential equations and the major achievements in the field of mathematical theory research, focus on cutting-edge hot spots, gather wisdom forces, train more outstanding scientific research talents, and promote the overall research ability in related fields. He looked forward to and believed that the vast number of young scholars can continue to study, innovate and jointly promote the calculation method of random differential equations and the rapid development of the field of mathematical theory research.

The event, with13academic reports and seminars, provided a platform for scholars in the numerical calculation direction of random partial differential equations by sharing cutting-edge research results, and helped to comprehensively upgrade the level of academic research in related fields of research.
