From September 7th to September 8th, a seminar on numerical calculation of random normal differential equations, jointly sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation Mathematics Tianyuan Foundation and Jilin University, was held at Jilin University Central Campus. The seminar, convened by Researcher Hong Jialin of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was the second meeting of the theme event of "The Calculation Method of Random Differential Equations 2019 and Their Mathematical Theory" at the Center for The Northeast of Tianyuan Mathematics. More than 60 experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, Nanjing University, Southeast University and other universities participated in the seminar. Li Huilai, a researcher at the Hong Jialin Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, dean of the School of Mathematics at Jilin University, and Professor Li Yong, director of the Institute of Mathematics, attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Zhang Ran, Vice Dean of the School of Mathematics and Deputy Director of the Executive Committee of the Northeast Center of Mathematics of the State Tianyuan.

Li Huilai delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, on behalf of the College, extended a warm welcome to the experts and scholars attending the meeting, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the experts for their long-standing support for the development and construction of the mathematics discipline of Chida. He pointed out that since its establishment, Tianyuan Mathematics Northeast Center has held a series of academic seminars with different characteristics, with remarkable results, which have greatly promoted the development of mathematics disciplines in scientific research, personnel training and discipline strength. College will give full play to the advantages of the central platform, adhere to the cultivation and introduction of the combination of high-level talent. He sincerely invited the vast number of outstanding young scholars to join the Mathematics College, jointly build a scientific research team with a solid foundation of research ability, for the college to cultivate first-class research talents, create first-class research results to lay the foundation for better promotion of the college's connotation construction.

In his speech, Hong Jialin first thanked Tianyuan Mathematics Northeast Center for its meticulous and thoughtful conference services, so that the experts and scholars at the meeting felt comfortable. He briefly introduced the purpose and activities of the seminar, hoping that young scholars will cherish the opportunity to exchange and learn, be good at thinking, be diligent in asking questions, be brave to explore and innovate, give full play to their respective advantages, form a joint effort, and contribute positively to the promotion of the calculation method of random differential equations and the development of their mathematical theories. The event, which has 22 academic reports and seminars, further strengthens the communication between experts and scholars in relevant fields by sharing cutting-edge research results, explores new research methods and theories, refines key scientific issues, and continuously expands and deepens the calculation methods of random differential equations and their mathematical research.
