OnJuly13-14,the "New Generation Of Artificial Intelligence Theory and Technology Seminar" jointly sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation Mathematics Tianyuan Foundation and Jilin University, and co-sponsored by Tianyuan Mathematics Northeast Center and Jilin University School of Mathematics, was held at Jilin University Central Campus. Professor Zheng Zhiming, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and more than20experts and scholars from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and other universities participated in the seminar. Zhang Xiangdong, Vice President of Jilin University, Li Huilai, Dean of the School of Mathematics, Li Xiaoguang, Party Secretary, and Li Yong, Director of the Institute of Mathematics, attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by the director of the Executive Committee of the Northeast Center of Tianyuan Mathematics.

Zhang Xiangdong delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, and first of all, on behalf of the school, congratulated the seminar on its success and warmly welcomed the participants. As a witness to the development of the mathematics discipline of Chida, Zhang Xiangdong reviewed the development course of mathematics discipline from the glorious times, to the severe period, and then to strive for progress, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the experts who have long been concerned about supporting the development of the mathematics discipline of Chida. He pointed out that the school is in the process of accelerating the construction of "two-class" and realizing the new stage of intension development, which is both opportunity and challenge for the development of the mathematics discipline of Jida. He hoped that, under the leadership of tianyuan Mathematics Northeast Center, through various academic exchanges, experts and scholars can build a platform for spreading ideas and sharing experiences, so that experts and scholars can more conveniently explore the scientific frontier theory, share the latest scientific research and technological achievements, and jointly contribute wisdom and strength to the development of the mathematics and radiation disciplines of ChiuUniversity. And then to promote the school "double-class" construction.

In his speech, Zheng Zhiming first thanked Jilin University for its long-term strong support for the development of national mathematics disciplines, and on the hot issues of the combination of artificial intelligence and mathematical theory, Zheng Zhiming put forward two suggestions: First, to encourage young scholars to participate deeply in the field of artificial intelligence research, with new theories to guide new development, In order to continuously explore the artificial intelligence research system and behavior of the new law. Second, I hope that young scholars will cherish this cross-disciplinary seminar, actively exchange academic ideas with senior experts engaged in the research direction of information technology, inspire new research ideas, master new research methods in a comprehensive and systematic way, and create a clear academic path for themselves.。

At the seminar, the experts and scholars launched a series of cutting-edge progress reports on topics such as "The Challenge of The Fourth Generation Artificial Intelligence", "Artificial Intelligence Based on Big Data", "The Theory, Method and Technology of Internet-based Group Intelligence", "Hybrid Intelligence of Human-Machine Synergy", "Innovative Application of Artificial Intelligence2.0",and actively promoted the effective integration of mathematical theory and artificial intelligence, providing cutting-edge theoretical support for the development of artificial intelligence, and further enriching and perfecting the mathematical theory system.
